Een rapporteur van de Verenigde Naties veroordeelt de luchtaanvallen met drones, waarbij inmiddels duizenden slachtoffers zijn gevallen en worden uitgevoerd de VS in opdracht van Obama, hij vraagt zich af in hoeverre deze luchtaanvallen legitiem zijn.<\/p>\n

\n\t De speciaal gezant, Cristoff Heyns heeft met een 28 pagina’s tellend document, dat hij naar de mensenrechtenorganisatie stuurde, de VS aangeklaagd om meer duidelijkheid te krijgen in het moorden met drones ( onbemande op afstand bestuurde vliegtuigen ).<\/p>\n
\tHeyns waarschuwde al eerder de Bush- administratie en nu dus ook de Obama administratie, om de internationale regels in acht te houden en verantwoordelijkheid te nemen naar de slachtoffers om het recht te garanderen.<\/p>\n
\n\tDe openbaring en publicatie van deze afslachting van vaak onschuldige mensen is een noodzakelijke maatregel om te garanderen dat de VS het internationaal recht hanteert en de familie van de slachtoffers compenseert, aldus de tekst.<\/p>\n
\n\tHet document spreekt ook de zorgen uit over de toenemende aantallen drones die wereldwijd ingezet worden. De laatste drie jaren zijn de aanvallen met drones enorm toegenomen.

\n\tSinds 2004 zijn duizenden mensen vermoord door drones, alleen in 2012 werden 957 Pakistanen vermoord door deze vliegtuigen.
\n\tDe VS heeft ontelbare aanvallen uitgevoerd met drones in Afghanistan, Yemen, Irak, Pakistan en Somalië.<\/p>\n
\n\tOndanks dat de VS beweert dat de drones enkel militanten aanvallen blijken de meeste slachtoffers gewone burgers te zijn.<\/p>\n

Between the two of them, they decide who lives and dies by simply placing a name on a target list for the US military and CIA that defines who are terrorists and who are not.<\/p>\n \t\tThe use of drones <\/a>within American skies has also increased as Obama incrementally turns our Free Republic into a Police State that was conceived of by Orwell in his book 1984<\/em>.<\/p>\n \t\tGlobal leaders have denounced<\/a> the award of the NPP to Obama; regarding the summation that he has "worked toward efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples" was a premature assumption within the first few months of his presidency.
